The solar and lunar year have changed, again. Now is near March and some of the ume trees have pretty shy and beautiful flowers, trying to overcome the winter. In matters of art and drawing, I have been in a horrible hiatus I want to end the soon as I can. I still do random illustrations but, it seems that my inspiration is hibernating or something like that. I am really waiting for spring to come.
As a good thing, I submitted two illustrations to the Rosatide contest and one of them won the second place. I think I could do it better, but at least it means a small step forward and I am happy for it. The worst thing is to stop moving. Becaus

The festival race

Here comes October and with it, my University festival in which art students must have to do a show. My class, the second year of nihonga major, has to do it of course too, and because of that I`m painting until 5 a.m. in the morning all this days. At least I have an aparment big enough this year for keeping the wooden panels and all the materials I need. Last year I lived in a dormitory room in which my T.V. was too big for it and occupied all the space.
...The weather is getting cold and it makes me happy, since autumn is my favourite season. I can`t wait to see the mountains getting red before their winter sleep...

Since I entered to study art in college I suffered a disgusting lack of inspiration that I thought it could be not cured. Then after a year of doing only homeworks, for hitsuzen I began to read Wraeththu, a kind of sf series written by Storm Constantine, and even if I am not a big fan of sf stuff, the world described there was so damn inspirating! So I am doing fanarts and miraclously, I finished them -snif-.
I wonder if that is a good signal and I will be able to take a pencil without trembling again.
